Pistachio Affogato
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 scoop high-quality vanilla gelato
- 1 shot (1oz) hot Botticelli Espresso
- 2 tsp Botticelli Pistachio Spread
- Crushed pistachios, for garnish
- Flakey sea salt
PREPARATION:
- Place 1 scoop of vanilla gelato into the center of a small glass or dessert cup.
- Pour the espresso over the gelato letting it fall around ball of gelato.
- Gently warm the pistachio spread in the microwave for a few seconds until it becomes pourable but not too hot and then drizzle the pistachio spread over the top of the ice cream.
- Sprinkle with the crushed pistachios and flakey sea salt. Enjoy!
