Cooking Instructions: Heat sauce gently in a saucepan over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Pour over your favorite pasta. 

Portobello Pizza Boats

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms, stem removed
  • Botticelli Sensitive Marinara Pasta Sauce
  • 16oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh Basil, for garnish
  • Optional toppings: Pepperoni, broccoli, olives, sausage, bacon, or whatever you desire.

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F
  2. Place the four mushrooms upside down in an 8x8in square baking dish or larger depending on the size of your mushrooms. Bake for 5 minutes and remove from oven.
  3. Spoon the sensitive marinara into the center of the mushroom and top with the shredded cheese. If you’re adding other toppings, add them now.
  4. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes to cool slightly. Top with fresh basil, serve and enjoy!
