Cooking Instructions: Heat sauce gently in a saucepan over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Pour over your favorite pasta.
Portobello Pizza Boats
INGREDIENTS
- 4 large portobello mushrooms, stem removed
- Botticelli Sensitive Marinara Pasta Sauce
- 16oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh Basil, for garnish
- Optional toppings: Pepperoni, broccoli, olives, sausage, bacon, or whatever you desire.
PREPARATION
- Preheat the oven to 375F
- Place the four mushrooms upside down in an 8x8in square baking dish or larger depending on the size of your mushrooms. Bake for 5 minutes and remove from oven.
- Spoon the sensitive marinara into the center of the mushroom and top with the shredded cheese. If you’re adding other toppings, add them now.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes to cool slightly. Top with fresh basil, serve and enjoy!
