INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp. of Cooking Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Once heated, add all of the sausage links and brown on all sides. Continue cooking for about 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Remove sausages and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining tbsp. of Cooking Extra Virgin Olive Oil and chopped onion and pepper. Saute for about 5-7 minutes or until they have softened. Add the Spicy Marinara Pasta Sauce and stir to combine. Cook for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  3. Slice the cooked sausages into bite size pieces. Add them to the skillet and stir to combine.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let the sausage and sauce simmer in the skillet for 5-10 minutes to let the sauce thicken slightly.
  5. Once the sauce has thickened to your liking, remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
  6. Serve and enjoy on its own or paired with mashed potatoes, your favorite pasta, or even add it to a hero!
