Cooking Instructions: Heat sauce gently in a saucepan over medium-high heat for four minutes. Pour over your favorite pasta.
Creamy Tomato & Burrata Bruschetta
Feeds 2-4 People
INGREDIENTS
- 4 1/4-inch thick slices of Italian bread
- 4 tbsp. Botticelli Creamy Tomato Pesto
- 2 large burrata balls
- 3oz thin sliced prosciutto, about 8 slices
- handful of fresh arugula
- Botticelli Baking Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for baking
- Botticelli Finishing Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
- Botticelli Glaze, for drizzling
- flaky salt
- fresh cracked black pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350°F.
On a parchment lined baking sheet, arrange the slices of bread. Brush each side with olive oil. Bake for about 5 minutes or until toasted. Flip mid way to get all sides equally toasted.
Once the bread is toasted, spread about 1 tbsp. of the Creamy Tomato Pesto on each of the toasts. Then drape 2 slices of prosciutto over so they don't lay flat.
Next, tear the burrata into halves and place the cheese over the length of the toasts.
Then, top the cheese with a couple fresh arugula leaves for a pop of color.
Finish them off with a drizzle of Finishing EVOO, Balsamic Glaze, salt and pepper. Serve them fresh and enjoy!
