Honey & Goat Cheese Pizza

PREPARATION:

  1. To make the pizza dough, combine warm water, yeast and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer and stir to combine. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, or until bubbly. Gently stir in olive oil.
Add in the flour and salt and mix together by hand until shaggy.
  2. Attach the dough hook and mix on low for 5 minutes. The dough should be sticky but form a ball when scraped away from the bowl. Place in an oiled bowl, cover and let rise for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  4. Stretch the pizza dough out into a round on a piece of parchment paper.
  5. Spread on some hot honey sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Add the goat cheese and bake (on a baking steel if you have one) for 8 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with finishing olive oil and hot honey.
  7. Sprinkle on some red pepper flakes and fresh parmesan. Enjoy!
