Cooking Instructions: Heat sauce gently in a saucepan over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Pour over your favorite pasta. 

Creamy Tomato & Burrata Rigatoni

INGREDIENTS:

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat a large pot of salted water over medium high heat and let come to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook to package instructions for al dente, approx. 11-14 minutes.
  2. Once done, reserve some of pasta water, strain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, add the Creamy Tomato & Basil pasta sauce and heat for 2 minutes over medium high heat.
  4. Add the rigatoni and a splash of the reserved pasta water and stir to combine ensuring all the rigatoni is well coated. Let cook for about 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
  5. Then, top with the burrata. Using your fingers, tear into the burrata and place the chunks across the top of the pasta. Turn off the heat, and cover with a lid for 2 to 4 minutes to let the burrata slightly melt.
  6. Lastly, sprinkle with chili pepper for added heat, a drizzle of Finishing Extra Virgin Olive Oil to elevate the dish, and fresh basil for a pop of color. Serve and enjoy!
