Where Did The Name Botticelli Come From?

Founders Joseph and Salvatore Asaro wanted to pay tribute to the art of their ancestors livelihood, food, and their time-tested recipes. When it came to thinking of a name for their new brand, Joseph thought of names in history that had also lasted the test of time. Famed Artist Sandro Botticelli came to mind. Thus, Botticelli was born, bridging the gap between the art of Italian fine arts and the Art of Italian Flavor. Click HERE to our full story.

What Makes Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Extra Virgin?"

Extra Virgin Olive Oil isn’t just a fancy name, it’s the highest standard of olive oil quality. To earn the “extra virgin” label, our olives must be cold extracted and the oil must meet strict taste and purity standards, resulting in fresher flavor and better quality in every pour.

Does Botticelli Blend Their Olive Oils?

Nope - No funny business here! Since our olive oils are packed in Italy, they need to pass the Certification and Conformity Testing by the EU before getting exported. This ensures that every drop of our EVOO is 100% extra virgin olive oil.

What's The Difference Between All Of Botticelli's Olive Oils?

Our Olive Oils are what we call Occasion Based. Each occasion is uniquely crafted using specific organoleptic features to ensure the oil highlights it's respective usage. Click HERE to learn more about each of our Occasion-Based Olive Oils.

Why Is High Polyphenol Olive Oil Important?

High polyphenol olive oil is valued for both its bold flavor and naturally occurring antioxidants. Polyphenols are beneficial plant compounds found in olives that help protect the oil’s freshness and contribute to the peppery, vibrant taste, quality olive oil lovers look for.

Our Bold Finishing Extra Virgin Olive Oil is crafted from olives naturally high in polyphenols, giving it a rich, robust flavor with the fresh peppery finish that signals exceptional quality. Click HERE to learn more about our Finishing EVOO.

Can You Cook With Extra Virgin Olive Oil?

The Short Answer is YES! Our Cooking, and Baking Extra Virgin Olive Oils are crafted with heat in mind so that you can confidently saute or bake in peace using quality ingredients like ours.

For high heat cooking like frying, we recommend our Frying Olive Oil which has a higher smoke point. Click HERE to learn more about our Frying Olive Oil

Brewed For Curious Minds

Because a great cup of Coffee should never feel complicated.

Are Your Coffee's USDA Organic?

Yes. All of our blends, espresso, and pods are certified USDA Organic. Great coffee starts at the source. Our USDA Organic certification means that our coffee beans are grown without synthetic pesticides or unnecessary chemicals, allowing the quality and character of the beans to shine through naturally. The result is a cleaner, more authentic cup of coffee with your health in mind.

How Fast Do Your Roasted Beans Get Ground and Bagged?

The process happens within seconds. Unlike traditional coffee grinding processes which typically take longer, once our coffee beans are ready to be processed, they get added to our specialty machines which grind, bag, and seal within seconds preventing oxidation from occurring.

How Should Coffee Be Stored For Freshness?

We recommend an air-tight container to prevent oxidation which would inevitably alter the flavor and aroma of the coffee and no one wants that.

What Does The Roast Level Of Coffee Have To Do With The Caffeine Level?

The lighter the roast, like our Morning Blend, the more caffeine is preserved within the bean leading to a higher caffeine level.

The darker the roast, like our Evening Blend, the more time spent roasting which caramelizes the beans chemical makeup removing a lot of it's caffeine. That's why our Evening Blend is considered a Half-Caf, perfect for those looking to stay away from the caffeine jitters.

Which Botticelli Coffee Has The Boldest Flavor?

Of course this is based on personal preference but if we had to pick one, our Espresso is pure, BOLD, Italian flavor. Check out our Espresso HERE.

Can You Store Your Coffee In The Freezer?

You can — but we don’t recommend it for everyday coffee storage. Frequent temperature changes can introduce moisture and affect the flavor and freshness of the coffee over time.

For the best tasting cup, store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from heat, light, and humidity. If you do freeze coffee for long-term storage, keep it tightly sealed and only thaw what you plan to use. Fresh Botticelli Coffee deserves better than freezer burn.

Is Botticelli Organic Coffee Ethically Sourced?

Yes, we take pride in ensuring all our beans are sourced ethically.

What's A Master Roaster?

A Master Roaster is someone who has roasted coffee beans for YEARS and has perfected the art of the craft. We have Master Roasters working on each batch of Botticelli Organic Ground Coffee to ensure that each batch is consistent, and true to it's Occasion.

What Do I Do With Used Coffee Grounds?

Don't throw them away! Click HERE to find 6 ways to used up those coffee grounds.

Where Do Your Coffee Beans Come From?

While our coffee beans are Roasted in Italy, the raw beans come from specific countries selected for their regional climates and elevations. These factors play pivotal roles in building the foundation for the coffee aroma, flavor, and quality. Our Morning, All Day, and Evening Blends contain a blend of Columbia and Honduras coffee beans and our Espresso is created using India AA beans.
