Perfect as an Appetizer or Dessert!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 Cups fresh blackberries
- 3 tbsp Botticelli Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tsp. Botticelli Finishing Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pinch of sea salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 4-6 Basil leaves, thinly sliced
- 8 oz. Burrata cheese
- 1 Loaf baguette
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400F
In a baking dish, combine berries, Botticelli Finishing Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Botticelli Balsamic Vinegar, salt and pepper.
Roast berries for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
Place a grill pan over high heat. Slice bread into 1/2 in slices. Brush each slice with Botticelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil and place on the grill pan. Let cook on each side until each side is golden brown. Once done, remove from the pan and place on a dish.
Spoon berry mixture on top of each piece of toast. Top with torn pieces of burrata. Sprinkle with basil and additional coarse sea salt.
