INGREDIENTS
- 20 Wonton Wrappers
- 1/3 Cup Chopped Pepperoni
- ¼ cup Botticelli Spicy Vodka Sauce
- 1 Cup Freshly Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Botticelli Frying Olive Oil
PREPARATION
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat 2 inches of Frying Olive Oil at 350F.
- Chop the shredded mozzarella into smaller pieces and add it to a large bowl with the chopped pepperoni and spicy vodka sauce. Mix until everything is combined.
- Add ½ tbsp. of filling to the center of each wonton wrapper and, using your finger, wet all the edges with water.
- Fold in the sides, placing one on top of the other, then press above and below the filling to seal the edges.
- Wet the top and bottom again and fold each up to create a small seal. Be sure to seal them tightly so they do not open up in the oil.
- Place a few pizza rolls into the heated oil and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffy and golden.
- Remove from oil and drain on a wire rack. Repeat with the remaining pizza rolls. Serve with warm Spicy Vodka Sauce and enjoy!
