A Go-To Appetizer

INGREDIENTS
- 20 Wonton Wrappers
- 1/3 Cup Chopped Pepperoni
- ¼ cup Botticelli Spicy Vodka Sauce
- 1 Cup Freshly Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Botticelli Frying Olive Oil
PREPARATION
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat 2 inches of Frying Olive Oil at 350F.
Chop the shredded mozzarella into smaller pieces and add it to a large bowl with the chopped pepperoni and spicy vodka sauce. Mix until everything is combined.
Add ½ tbsp. of filling to the center of each wonton wrapper and, using your finger, wet all the edges with water.
Fold in the sides, placing one on top of the other, then press above and below the filling to seal the edges.
Wet the top and bottom again and fold each up to create a small seal. Be sure to seal them tightly so they do not open up in the oil.
Place a few pizza rolls into the heated oil and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffy and golden.
Remove from oil and drain on a wire rack. Repeat with the remaining pizza rolls. Serve with warm Spicy Vodka Sauce and enjoy!
