Sweet and Spicy Pepperoni Pizza

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 16oz of Fresh Pizza Dough, available at your local grocery store
  • 1 jar Botticelli Pizza Sauce
  • 6oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6oz shredded provolone cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Semolina flour
  • Botticelli Chili Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

 

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat your oven to 425F
  2. In a large pan, sprinkle enough semolina flour to just dust the pan. This will help prevent the pizza from sticking.
  3. Lay the pizza dough down and begin gently pressing and spreading the dough to fill the pan.
  4. Ladle the pizza sauce onto the pizza ensuring to evenly coat the dough.
  5. Next, add the cheeses and pepperoni slices.
  6. Place into the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until a crust has formed on the botton and the cheese is nice and bubbly on top.
  7. Remove and let stand for 2 minutes.
  8. Drizzle the chili extra virgin olive oil and honey across the entire pizza. Top with fresh basil leaves, slice, serve and enjoy!
