Gluten Free Italian Style Meatballs


INGREDIENTS:

PREPARATION:

  1. Add the fresh herbs, onion, and garlic to a food processor and pulse until minced. In a large bowl, add the ground beef, milk, egg, parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and minced onion/herb mix. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not over-mix as this will make the meatballs tough.
  2. Portion the meat out into 10 meatballs and roll between your hands until smooth. Heat a skillet over medium high heat with a bit of Cooking Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Brown the meatballs on all sides. 
  3. Preheat the oven to 450F and place the oven rack toward the top of the oven. Spoon the Traditional Pasta Sauce into your preferred baking dish and add in the meatballs.
  4. Sprinkle on the shredded mozzarella and more parmesan if desired. Bake for 10 minutes or until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is browned. Top with fresh parsley and enjoy!
