Cheesy Sausage and Pesto Flatbread

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
- 1/2 cup of Botticelli Pesto Alfredo
- 1 cup cooked and sliced Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- fresh arugula, for garnish
- Botticelli Balsamic Glaze, for drizzling
- Botticelli Finishing Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for your flatbread or pizza crust.
Place the pre-made flatbread or pizza crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread the Pesto Alfredo evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small boarder around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and evenly distribute the sausage, caramelized onions, and mushrooms across the flatbread. Lastly, sprinkle the grated Parmesan.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
Once the flatbread is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Garnish with fresh arugula and drizzle with Balsamic Glaze and EVOO. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
