Pizza Pinwheels

INGREDIENTS
- 15oz of fresh pizza dough, use store-bought or make your own!
- ¾ cup Botticelli Pizza Sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 oz of pepperoni slices
- shredded parmesan, for garnish
- sprinkle of flour
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400F and lightly grease a 9x13 in. muffin pan; set aside.
On a parchment lined counter, spread some flour to prevent sticking. Roll out the pizza dough evenly to about ¼ in. thickness.
Then, ladle out the pizza sauce. If a saucier pinwheel is desired, use more sauce than recommended.
Once evenly coated with sauce, spread the mozzarella cheese in an even layer and top with the pepperoni slices.
Using a pizza cutter, cut 1 in. wide strips. Then, carefully begin rolling up the strip to create the pinwheel.
Place each pinwheel in the muffin tin. Once all the pinwheels are made, place them in the oven and cook for about 20-30 minutes. Once the bread is golden brown, remove it and sprinkle some shredded parmesan on top.
Let it cool for about 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
