Creamy Polenta with Balsamic Drizzle
INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup coarse-grind cornmeal
- 3 tbsp. butter
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Botticelli Balsamic Glaze
PREPARATION
- In a large saucepan over medium high heat, bring the water and milk to a boil.
- Add in the salt and gradually sprinkle the polenta into the pan. Make sure to whisk the entire time to avoid any clumps.
- Reduce to low heat and simmer, cover and cook for 25-35 minutes or until thick. Stir the polenta every 10 minutes.
- Once done, remove from heat, and stir in the butter and parmesan cheese.
- Spoon polenta into a rimmed dish and drizzle the top with Balsamic Glaze. Serve and enjoy!
